An integrated microprocessor provides automatic calibration and temperature monitoring while the unit’s water resistant case protects the internal electronics from moisture. Sample requirement is a modest 0.4 ml. The dynamic range is 1.000 to 1.050 for specific gravity as compared to most units that only extend to 1.030. The range for total protein is 0-12 g%. 

The Sper Digital Refractometer operates on one 9V battery that yields an average of 2000 readings while automatic shutoff helps extend battery life. Comes complete with battery, carrying case, and instructions. One year warranty.
